Steps for setting up an automated call for your campaign…
  1. You can record your message anytime of the day, any hour of the day by following these few steps. Call 877-233-8628 and record your message after listening to the brief introduction. You can begin recording after the beep tone. After you have finished speaking, press the # key and follow the prompts to review your message. You can delete and re-record your message at this time if needed. (If possible do not hang up and re-record just follow these steps). It is best to mention your name at the beginning of the message, in the middle if you can and always at the end.

  2. If someone else is going to record for you or on your behalf please have person recording call say at the beginning of message who they are and what is the name of the candidate that they are calling for (if appropriate) and then pause and begin the message. We can edit out the part of the message where you say who you are and what the name of the candidate is. At the end of your message be sure and add a disclaimer. The disclaimer should be something like this. "This message paid for by Joe Smith for state senate" or if appropriate "paid for by the Joe Smith for senate campaign". If a specific committee is paying for the call then an appropriate disclaimer may be "paid for by the committee for honesty in politics " or " paid for by the committee to re-elect Joe Smith ". Some states have laws regarding disclaimers so you may want to visit your specific Secretary of State or state Attorney Generals websites regarding this. Some candidates send us a message that they have already recorded. If you are doing this, please email us the message in an mp3 format.

  3. Once you record your message on our system, we will e-mail it to you for approval. We will not send out any calls without message approval in writing. You are responsible for the content of the message(s) used for your campaign.

  4. Email data to us, (just the 10 digit phone number is all we need unless you are having us conduct a survey in which case please include name and phone number and any other pertinent information you have). You can send data in excel or .txt format. Please copy Dennis Carpenter at dcpmiinc@aol.com on all data and instructions.

  5. When and if you are sending us your order, please send instructions like we have below.
    1. Message File Name - provided by us, unless sent by client, i.e., JoeSmith.mp3
    2. Message Length - the length of the message that you are sending to us
    3. Data List - i.e., phone numbers that we are calling JoeSmith.xls .txt etc.
    4. Delivery - Date, time and time zone to deliver calls, i.e., 3-10-08 at 4pm EST
    5. Deliver calls to - both live and answering machines or machines only
    6. Caller ID - the phone number that you want displayed, i.e., campaign office
    7. Additional - any additional information you may need to provide us


  6. We must have payment in advance before we can begin your calls. You can pay by credit/debit card by going to www.paypal.com and look for the send money tab then click the send money tab and follow the instructions. At some point you will have to enter my electnv@aol.com email address. Unless we can verify funds, your calls will not go out. You also agree to not stop payment on your credit card payment to us for any reason. If your order is over $200.00 we require prepayment in the form of a certified or cashier's check. PayPal also allows you to pay by what is called an ECheck. If you pay by ECheck it may take up to two weeks for your Echeck to clear. You can pay by personal or campaign check but we will wait until that check clears our bank before making your calls.

  7. If you are paying by certified check, cashier's check or by regular check please make payable to and send to: PMI, Inc, 4402 Lafayette St, 2nd Floor, Marianna, FL 32447, Phone: 850-482-5079. If you pay via overnight, please fax us a copy of the check to 877-561-5261. If you want to pay by bank wire, please e-mail us and we will email those instructions to you.

  8. If your list is 5000 records or less, we have established a flat rate of $200.00 to run that specific campaign for a message up to 30 seconds long. For single orders over 5000 records the cost is 4 cents per call. If the message is 30-45 seconds long it is 5 cents and for a message 45-60 seconds the cost is 6 cents per call. If your message is over 60 seconds long please inquire on cost. Once payment is confirmed and we have approval of message it will take anywhere between 30 and 90 minutes for your calls to begin.

  9. List Purchase: If you do not have a list of numbers to make your calls, we can purchase a list on your behalf for an additional cost. Please note that any list purchase from us is nonrefundable.

  10. Upon completion of your call campaign, you will receive a summary report of your calls that were done. In most cases you can expect to receive this in the late afternoon or evening the same day that your calls went out. In some cases like the day of the election, your report may be delayed.

  11. Office Hours: Our office is closed from 5:30pm EST Friday, until 5:30pm EST Saturday. Please feel free to send your data and record your message(s) and send us emails and/or leave us phone messages and we will reply to you after 5:30pm Saturday. If your campaign needs to go out on Sunday and you can't reach us, don't worry, we will be able to deliver your calls for you.
